I have been playing The Sims since the game premiered back over a decade ago.  I remember anxiously waiting for the game's arrival and racing out to buy every expansion pack and stuff pack that came with it!  The excitement was even great when Sims 2 was released and my only qualm with that game was that my other sims did not age at the same time.  So you can believe that I was out at the midnight release for Sims 3.  Even though I do not actually play the game as much now, I still cannot wait to purchase the new expansions to see what they added to my game (although now I no longer purchase stuff packs). 

Back in October 2008, I discovered the Sims custom content community.  I had no idea it even existed and I fell in love with all of the new options I could add to my game.  At that time as a new mom I was not playing the game as much but I still loved to build neighborhood maps and lots.  However, I had difficulty finding a website that offered lots with no CC and that were easy to find and sort through.  Thus, I started My Sim Realty.  From that point on it has become like a little community that I love and has grown from just a few people visiting a day to over 50,000 a month.  It has grown and I am so proud of this little website! 

As for me, I am just an ordinary gal living in the Midwest.  I am married to the love of my life and who is sweet enough to go out at midnight to pick up my games so I can sleep!  We have three beautiful children, who are growing up so fast... they keep me pretty busy.  My favorite thing to do with the Sims 3 right now is create, especially worlds!  They have grown in quality since the first one and I try and use standard lot sizes so that you can customize a world however you want by swapping out lots.  I have especially enjoyed changing out INI files and customizing the atmosphere of the world. 

I love getting emails and I love requests - they inspire me, I just no longer can promise their completion because I get so many!  I try to honor what I can.  I also love when people comment and get involved on the Facebook page - it is where I start with all of my BETA testing and sharing pictures of what I am up to.  So please join us if you use social networking and feel free to add me as a friend on the Sims 3 as SimRealtor!

In regards to my creations, I do not mind at all (in fact I am quite honored) if you want to use my worlds in stories and such and I do appreciate the credit.  I have started to make the CAW files available for some of my worlds since there are just too many right now to update.  It would mean a lot to me if you can respect my time and talent and not upload my work to another site or take credit for my work.  If you use a lite world and build it in, I would still appreciate the credit as the world's creator.
