One of the best aspects of Sims 3 is the concept of an open neighborhood!  Take advantage of this by filling your world with plenty of fun and interesting places for your sims to visit!  My Sim Realty has a large selection of community lots and they are sorted according to the lot type with each respective expansion pack. 

In order for these lots to function properly and allow you to enroll in University while in your home world, you will need to have two custom content items correctly installed.  Once these are installed, restart your game and you can go to the Administration building (do not use the phone or computer) and enroll in University.  The rugs serve as the rabbit hole so you can click on them for all functions.  After you place these lots from your library, restart to get the "enroll" option.

	SimMeapolis World & University If you are not keen on using custom content or mods in your game but do not like EA's glitchy error ridden university, then you have come to the right place!  Welcome to SimMeapolis which is a fully functioning world but also has a version available that can be used in place of EA's so that you can travel here!  Have dreams of a country girl living in a rural area going to the big city for college to achieve her dreams?  Those dreams are now a reality!
	Salmon Woods University Requires Sims 3 + World Adventures + Ambitions + Late Night + Seasons + Island Paradise + University + Basketball Hoop Lot Size:   64x64             Furnished:  $210,775 Stories:  2 Other:  Sims who wish to remain in their hometown and still get a degree will enjoy attending Salmon Woods University.  There is an on-campus cafe, large gymnasium and two computer labs.  It was created for Salmon Woods to go in the town square.  As a custom university, please remember to install the rabbit hole rugs and appropriate mod for it to function properly.
	Storybrook University Requires Sims 3 + Late Night + Seasons + University + Supernatural (optional) Lot Size:   50x30             Furnished:  $56,637 Stories:  1 Other:  Students can attend all of their classes in one convenient location at Storybrook University.  This building has two study rooms and bathrooms with showers, in addition to all four class types.  The Administration building can be found in the matching student union below.  This lot was built to go in Storybrook County.
	University Student Union Requires Sims 3 + Late Night + Showtime + University + Into the Future (optional) Lot Size:   45x30             Furnished:  $69,238 Stories:  1 Other:  This student union was built to go in Storybrook County.  It is only one level and has the student booths, large bathrooms with showers, a lecture hall, study rooms and the science lab.  Students will also find the Administration Center conveniently located on this lot.
	Anne Arbor University Requires Sims 3 + LN + UNI (SHO optional) Lot Size:   55x30             Furnished:  $60,462 Stories:  2 Other:  Your sims will enjoy attending the Anne Arbor University.  The main level has a grilling patio, computer lab and small coffee shop with bathrooms.  Your students can travel to the top of the campanile to view the city.  This lot was built for Anne Arbor to be placed in the city at 125 Route 66.  This lot has all University rabbitholes.  Each rug has been colored to blend in to the floor.
	Evansdale University Requires Sims 3 + LN + SN + UNI Lot Size:   40x40             Furnished:  $19,216 Stories:  1 Other:  Here is another option for your world if your sims do not wish to leave their world to attend University.  Welcome to Evansdale University - a stately educational facility with a picnic gazebo, computer lab and a coffee shop / rec area.  At this time it replaces the Festival lot in the city, located at 21 Primrose Parkway.  This lot has all University rabbitholes.  Each rug has been colored to blend in to the floor.  This lot was built for Evansdale County.
	Evansdale Community College (First Edition) Requires Sims 3 + AM + SHO + UNI Lot Size:   40x40             Furnished:  $10,430 Stories:  1 Other:  The citizens of Evansdale County will now be able to enjoy attending University without leaving their world.  This lot is the first of two options for a University.  At this time it replaces the Festival lot in the city, located at 21 Primrose Parkway.  This lot has all University rabbitholes.  Each rug has been colored to blend in to the floor.  There are several skill building objects for each college as well as a little student center with coffee bar, study rooms with computers and bathrooms.  There are also tables around the fountain for studying.
